Description

Datum Handling

This feature allows for the transformation and output of solutions using predefined or user defined datums.

Plate Tectonic Compensation

This feature modifies the receiver's output solution by applying the current tectonic plate's motion model.

Multi-Frequency, Multi-Constellation

This feature allows the receiver to use a multi-constellation, multi-frequency channel configuration while a TerraStar‑X, TerraStar‑C PRO or RTK ASSIST PRO subscription is active. This allows the receiver to make the best use of the TerraStar subscription while computing PPP position solutions.

SPAN Improvements

Several improvements have been made to the SPAN GNSS+INS technology:

New Command

Description

APPROXPOSTIMEOUT

This command sets the approximate position timeout of the receiver.

CONFIGCODE

This command is used to enter configurations that persist even after non-volatile memory is cleared.

DATUMTRANSFORMATION

This command is used to add or remove user-defined datum transformations.

DMICONFIG

This command is used to configure a Distance Measurement Instrument (DMI) input.

DOPPLERWINDOW

Change the behavior of the doppler search for automatic channel assignments in the receiver.

DUALANTENNAALIGN

This command is used to enable or disable ALIGN and configure the ALIGN operation rates on a dual antenna receiver.

GEODETICDATUM

This command is used to add or remove user-defined datums.

ITWARNINGCONFIG

This command is used to configure the sensitivity level for setting the Jammer Detected bit in the Receiver Status word.

NMEABEIDOUTALKER

This command is used to alter the behavior of the NMEA BeiDou talker ID.

OUTPUTDATUM

This command is used to select the geodetic datum and co-ordinate epoch in which PPP solutions are output.

PGNCONFIG

This command is used to configure the PGNs of the proprietary NMEA 2000 fast-packet messages the OEM7 receivers produce.

RTKTRACKINGCONTROL

Controls automatic selection of tracking signal type based on incoming base station observations.

SETIMUEVENT

This command is used to select the event used for timing the IMU data.

TECTONICSCOMPENSATIONSOURCE

This command is used to enable tectonics (plate motion) compensation.

TERRASTARAUTOCHANCONFIG

This command allows the receiver to use a multi-constellation, multi-frequency channel configuration while a TerraStar‑X, TerraStar‑C PRO or RTK ASSIST PRO subscription is active.

TRACKSIGNAL

This command enables or disables tracking of a signal within the channel configuration signal list.

Increased the range for the offset parameter.

CONNECTIMU

Added a new IMU type, Epson G320N – 200 Hz.

DATUM

Changed the command description to clarify the operation and use of this command.

EXTERNALPVAS

This command now accepts relative position updates.

NMEATALKER

Added talker IDs for BeiDou, NavIC and QZSS.

SETINSPROFILE

Changed the Profiles available.

Deleted Command

Description

ASYNCHINSLOGGING

Asynchronous logging no longer needs to be enabled to request the IMURATECORRIMUS, IMURATEPVA and IMURATEPVAS logs.

HEAVEFILTER

This command is no longer required for Heave configuration.

ITINTERFERENCEDETECT

This command has been replaced. Use the ITDETECTCONFIG command.

SETWHEELPARAMETERS

This command has been replaced. Use the DMICONFIG command.

WHEELVELOCITY

This command has been replaced. Use the RAWDMI command.

Logs

New Log

Description

BESTDATUMINFO

This log reports the datum and co-ordinate epoch of the solution in the BESTPOS log.

BESTGNSSDATUMINFO

This log reports the datum and co-ordinate epoch of the solution in the BESTGNSSPOS log.

CORRIMUS

This log contains the RAWIMU data corrected for gravity, the earth’s rotation and estimated sensor errors.

Replaces the CORRIMUDATA and CORRIMUDATAS logs.

DATUMTRANSFORMATIONS

This log reports the datum transformations known to the receiver.

GALFNAVRAWALMANAC

This log contains the Galileo FNAV raw almanac information. This log contains the raw bits from page types 5 and 6.

GALFNAVRAWEPHEMERIS

This log contains the Galileo FNAV raw ephemeris information. This log contains raw ephemeris data from page type 1 to page type 4.

GALINAVRAWALMANAC

This log contains the Galileo INAV raw almanac information. This log contains the INAV raw data from word types of 7 to 10.

GALINAVRAWEPHEMERIS

This log contains the Galileo INAV raw ephemeris information. This log contains the ephemeris raw data from word types of 1 to 6.

GEODETICDATUMS

This log shows a list of available datums.

INSPVACMP

This log contains the INSPVA log information compressed as a NMEA 2000 fast packet message for CAN output.

INSPVASDCMP

This log contains the standard deviation information for the INSPVACMP log information compressed in a NMEA 2000 fast packet message for CAN output.

ITPSDDETECT

This log contains the power spectral density samples for the interference detection algorithm.

PPPDATUMINFO

This log reports the datum and co-ordinate epoch of the solution in the PPPPOS log.

PPPSEEDAPPLICATIONSTATUS

This log is used to monitor the status of the last-applied static PPP seed.

PPPSEEDSTORESTATUS

This log reports the availability of the PPP seed stored in NVM.

RAWDMI

This log contains the raw measurements from the Distance Measurement Instruments (DMI) connected to the receiver.

TECTONICSCOMPENSATION

This log shows the status of the tectonics compensation model.

GPGLL

The position is now output in the user selected datum.

GPGRS

This log is now compatible with NMEA 4.1.

GPGST

The position is now output in the user selected datum.

GPRMC

The position is now output in the user selected datum.

INSCONFIG

This log can now be logged using the ONTIME trigger.

INSUPDATESTATUS

Added descriptions for the DMI update status.

ITPSDFINAL

Clarified notes for power levels.

MARKPOS, MARK2POS, MARK3POS and MARK4POS

The position is now output in the user selected datum.

PASHR

Changed the Time field to add precision.
