Description

OEM-IMU-µIMU-IC-UART support

SPAN technology supports the OEM-IMU-µIMU-IC-UART IMU. This IMU can be connected directly to a serial port on the receiver. For information about this IMU see OEM-IMU-µIMU-IC / OEM-IMU-µIMU-IC-UART and Connect an OEM-IMU-µIMU-IC-UART Directly to an OEM7 Receiver.

New Feature

Description

OEM7500

Changed recommended stencil thickness to 0.127 mm.

PTP support

Precision Time Protocol is supported on OEM7 receivers that have Ethernet ports. For information about this feature, see Precision Time Protocol.

TTFF improvements

The Time To First Fix value has been improved for all receivers using OEM 7.09.00 firmware.

Velocity limit increased

The velocity limit of receivers using OEM 7.09.00 firmware has been increased to 600 m/s.

Description

PTPMODE

Use this command to enable or disable the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) clock and configure the receiver's mode of operation.

PTPPROFILE

Use this command to select one of the pre-configured PTP profiles.

PTPTIMESCALE

Use this command to set the time scale used for PTP.

SET4BITSBASPREAMBLE

Use this command to select whether a tracked SBAS PRN will use the 3x8 distributed preamble defined in RTCA/DO-229D or the 6x4 distributed preamble defined in the proposed SBAS L5 DFMC ICD when framing the L5 signal navigation data.

SETTIMESOURCE

Use this command to configure the satellite systems that may be used to set the receiver time.

USERCANCLOSE

Use this command to disable a CAN port.

USERCANOPEN

Use this command to enable a CAN port.

USERCANWRITE

Use this command to write a basic CAN frame to the specified CAN port.

PTPDELTATIME

This log provides information regarding the time difference between the receiver's current GPS time as used in log headers and the time provided by the grandmaster clock currently recognized by the receiver.

RXCONFIGUSER

This log is used to output a list of the current command settings issued by the user or commands triggered internally by user issued commands.

USERCANDATA

This log reports the received CAN basic frame data.

USERCANSTATUS

This log reports the status of a previously executed USERCANOPEN, USERCANCLOSE or USERCANWRITE command.
