New for OEM 7.06.01

This section describes the new features, commands and logs in OEM 7.06.01.

Documents released: May 2019

Features

New feature

Description

Datum Handling

This feature allows for the transformation and output of solutions using predefined or user defined datums.

The following commands were added for this feature:
DATUMTRANSFORMATION, GEODETICDATUM, OUTPUTDATUM

The following logs were added for this feature:
BESTDATUMINFO, BESTGNSSDATUMINFO, DATUMTRANSFORMATIONS, GEODETICDATUMS, PPPDATUMINFO

Plate Tectonic Compensation

This feature modifies the receiver's output solution by applying the current tectonic plate's motion model.

The following command was added for this feature:
TECTONICSCOMPENSATIONSOURCE

The following log was added for this feature:
TECTONICSCOMPENSATION

Multi-Frequency, Multi-Constellation

This feature allows the receiver to use a multi-constellation, multi-frequency channel configuration while a TerraStar‑X, TerraStar‑C PRO or RTK ASSIST PRO subscription is active. This allows the receiver to make the best use of the TerraStar subscription while computing PPP position solutions.

See the TERRASTARAUTOCHANCONFIG command.

Terrain Compensation

The Terrain Compensation feature corrects for errors in position caused by tilting of the vehicle.

See Terrain Compensation.

Commands

New command

Description

$PMDT

Use this NMEA command to configure the Terrain Compensation function.

DATUMTRANSFORMATION

This command is used to add or remove user-defined datum transformations.

GEODETICDATUM

This command is used to add or remove user-defined datums.

ITWARNINGCONFIG

This command is used to configure the sensitivity level for setting the Jammer Detected bit in the Receiver Status word.

OUTPUTDATUM

This command is used to select the geodetic datum and co-ordinate epoch in which PPP solutions are output.

TECTONICSCOMPENSATIONSOURCE

This command is used to enable tectonics (plate motion) compensation.

TERRASTARAUTOCHANCONFIG

This command allows the receiver to use a multi-constellation, multi-frequency channel configuration while a TerraStar‑X, TerraStar‑C PRO or RTK ASSIST PRO subscription is active.

TILTCOMPENSATIONCONTROL

This command is used to enable or disable the application of position corrections computed by Terrain Compensation to output positions.

TILTFILTER

This command is used to set the height of the GNSS antenna and enable or disable estimation of the system pitch and roll by the Tilt filter.

TILTZERO

Use this command to set the internal zero level for the Tilt filter and to save the Terrain Compensation settings
