File conversion example

The following steps provide an example of converting a file to RINEX format.

1. Open NovAtel Convert.
   For details, see Starting NovAtel Convert.

2. Open the file using the Open button or by dragging and dropping the file on to the Input side of the Main window.
   For details, see Open a file in the Main window.

3. If input file filtering is required, click the + button beside the input file name and enter the filter settings.
   For details, see Input side – Main window.

4. Click the Conversion drop menu for the file and change the setting to RINEX.
   For details, see Conversion drop menu.

5. If the default output file name and directory are acceptable, continue to the next step.
   If the default file name and directory are not acceptable, change the file name and directory.
   For details, see Output side – Main window.

6. Click the + button beside the output file name and set the RINEX output file settings.
   For details, see RINEX output.

7. Ensure the checkbox beside the input file name has a check mark.

8. Click the Convert button in Conversion tab.
   The Conversion drop menu for the file changes to a progress bar.
   When the conversion is complete, progress bar disappears and the checkbox beside the input file name is cleared.
