Enabling Corrections Services and PPP

Hexagon offers Precise Point Positioning (PPP) solutions for many different applications with up to centimetre level positioning accuracy, available as subscription services. See Receiver Features: Authorization and Subscriptions. OEM7 receivers can receive PPP corrections directly from L-band satellites and additionally through an IP interface using NTRIP.

  • Land and airborne applications use TerraStar Corrections Services.

  • Marine survey and nearshore vessels use Oceanix Corrections Services.

  • Deep water marine and exploration use Veripos Corrections Services.

With correction data from a correction services provider and NovAtel's PPP algorithm, NovAtel receivers can achieve sub-metre to centimetre level positioning accuracy. To enable a PPP solution, the following is required:

  • a receiver capable of receiving the correction data stream

  • a subscription to a supported correction service provider
