Contact NovAtel sales (sales.nov.ap@hexagon.com, 1-800-NOVATEL), use the NovAtel eStore or integrate the NovAtel eCommerce Machine to Machine (M2M) API to purchase subscriptions and software model options.

The purchased service authorization is dispatched immediately to the receiver over L-band satellite or IP connection or can be provided on demand with an IP request to the M2M interface. You can subscribe to multiple features simultaneously and the ecommerce system ensures that service products include all features and function levels needed for a service to function effectively. NovAtel offers bundles of services including SmartNet RTK Corrections and Waypoint post processing software along with the associated receiver features.

You can choose the duration and start date of a subscription and then renew seamlessly either manually or automatically. Different services can start and end at different times and compatible services can overlap. During a service period the active model will be the union of the last requested permanent model and all of the subscribed features. The receiver will display a schedule of current, future and recently past service periods and transitions between them automatically. You can trial a new service or upgrade a service temporarily or permanently at any time. You can purchase a subscription for one receiver for the duration (fixed) or a pool of seats that can be assigned to different receivers as needed over the duration (flex). An enterprise agreement can allow a whole group of receivers continuous baseline service and the option to upgrade with other subscriptions. You can easily purchase and manage subscriptions for many receivers in bulk with streamlined assignment and coordinated renewal. NovAtel offers a simple web-based application (SMUI) to manage your subscriptions.

Services requiring external corrections, such as TerraStar, Oceanix, Apex and SmartNet require a subscription, but other receiver features can also be purchased as a permanent software model upgrade. That model upgrade is dispatched to the receiver over L-band, IP or M2M in the same way as a subscription. The receiver also supports the legacy auth-code method of delivering software model upgrades.
