Release 2024.10.1
The following updates were introduced with Release 2024.10.1 of the NeCS NovAtel e-Commerce System.
This release became available on the API Application Programming Interface Gateway on November 2, 2024.
Dispatch Channel
This release introduces a new parameter, DispatchChannel, to support activation messages through an M2M Machine-to-Machine interface as the primary mechanism for activation and to prevent future activations from being sent over L-Band or NTRIP
The DispatchChannel parameter allows certain API requests to designate the method in which a message is sent to the receiver. The DispatchChannel can be set to:

All – the message is sent via L-Band and NTRIP
-
TelematicsOnly – the message is sent via telematics only.
APIs that Support Selecting the Dispatch Channel
The following APIs support selecting the Dispatch The process of transmitting information from the system to a receiver. This may be new service, a change or additional service periods such as a renewal or trial. It may include (possibly repeated) messages over L-band, IP, M2M or an off-line dispatch code. channel:

eStore
The following updates are available on the NovAtel eStore:

Waypoint customers will receive a 20% discount when renewing their post-contractual support (PCS) before the current PCS term's expiry date. This is automatically applied when purchasing PCS renewal.

Fixed a bug where expiring labels were incorrectly applied for some subscriptions.

Fixed a bug where Waypoint PCS purchase was not allowed for an entitlement with multiple licenses. The eStore now requires the entry of the activation ID to which the PCS applies.
